The Kenyon Observer was founded in 1989 by David Horner and Alexander Novak as a conservative undergraduate political journal on the campus of Kenyon College. It continued to run through the Fall of 2009, but then temporarily ceased publication.
The Observer was re-founded in 2011 by Jon Green and Gabriel Rom. Moving away from the exclusively conservative brand of its predecessor, the current iteration of the publication features content from Kenyon students of all political ideologies and backgrounds.
The online arm of the Observer is a source for more frequent political commentary than the bi-weekly content that appears in print. It is our hope that readers will freely interact with this website, posting comments and sending us submissions for consideration at tko@kenyon.edu.
